So simple and good!!!
I like leeks and I have eaten them often. I've tried this recipe twice as I made it the night before and the same day. I found this recipe disgusting. After cooking they were impossible to cut into rounds. The dressing didn't seem to go with these and they were slimy. I thought perhaps I had over cooked them but they were nice and firm on the inside. I don't recommend making them the night before as the slimy texture is even worse - did this 1st and thought that that was why I didn't like them. Also, keeping them in chunks kept the sand/dirt in some of them. After slicing, I had to rewash a few pieces. Will not make again.
Never had leeks before. It was ok at first but as I kept eating I couldn't finish. Did like the taste and texture. If u like leeks you would probably like this better.
